Our heartfelt condolences to the Veregge family right now. @JeffreyVeregge passed away earlier this month after several years battling lupus. Jeffrey was a joy to collaborate with on the artwork of Promised Land, and he was an important voice in indigenous comics.

Normalize booking Native folks for your Native American Heritage Month events 6 months to a year out AND normalize having Native folks come to speak/perform/whatever YEAR ROUND and not just October-November. Geez. This shouldn't have to be said EVERY year.
