The bar was so low, I don’t even understand how NDC is finding a way to go lower.
The previous government was rejected so badly that NDC won 13 out of 16 regions. Ghanaians did not just vote for change, they sent a warning.
All this government has to do is listen, stay humble, work and deliver but look at how some appointees and institutions are moving.
People are suffering and some of them are acting like power is a reward not a responsibility. Ghanaians want results. Thats all.

Ghana flooding is not a new problem. We’ve been talking about flooding for decades yet every rainy season homes flood, roads flood, businesses suffer, and lives are sometimes lost.
The money too has not been small.
Government said GH¢450 million had been spent on flood control since 2018. The World Bank also gave Ghana $200 million for GARID, then added another $150,000,00 (one hundred and fifty million dollars)
GARID is the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development Project. In simple terms, it is a big Accra flood-control and sanitation project, especially around the Odaw River Basin.
So that is GH¢450m plus $350 million connected to flood prevention.
If hundreds of millions have gone into flood control and Accra is still flooding badly in 2026, what exactly did we get for the money?

Six terms in Parliament. Not enough was done. I own my share of that failure.
But I did not stop there. I built.
7,000+ employed. Infrastructure created. Private capital invested.
Less talking. More building. That has always been my answer.

“The rain didn’t fail us. We failed ourselves.” Respectfully, who is “we”? The ordinary Ghanaian who loses his home every year? Or the political class that has known the causes of flooding for decades and still hasn’t fixed them? We know the problem. Blocked drains. Poor planning. Building on waterways. What Ghanaians want explained is why leaders have spent decades describing the problem instead of solving it.
