@GregGoldman56 Nah, but you can get an Amen! I'm walking the same path in a different reality. Never looking back unless I need to learn. Being clean from booze and other poisons is the only way. Consciousness expanding,spirit healing. Stay away from aa/na. Imho they're definitely a cult.

April is Alcohol Awareness Month.
Left side: yellow eyes, puffy face, drinking to get through the day, telling myself I had it under control. Right side: almost four years sober, down 100 lbs, clear headed, actually present for my family.
I didn't think I had a problem because I wasn't hitting rock bottom the way you see in movies. I was functioning. Working. Raising kids. But I was numbing my way through life and calling it normal.
Sobriety didn't just change how I look. It changed how I show up. For my kids. For my husband. For myself. I got my faith back. I got my health back. I got me back.
If you're reading this and wondering if you need to quit, that question alone might be your answer. You don't have to wait until things get worse to make a change.
You don't have to do it perfectly. You just have to start.

They cash the checks. We foot the bill.
We built this country.
We carried it on our backs.
We were the ones who still believed hard work would pay off.
Newsflash:
It doesn’t.
Not anymore.
Not for honest, working, middle-class Americans.
We’re not blind anymore.
We’re awake.
We’re angry.
And we’re done staying quiet.
