I’ve been doing #FantasyFootball for 30-years. This is what I strive for 1) Never Give Up 2) Be honest- you may not like it, but it’s the truth 3) Know that I’m not perfect- To pretend otherwise is also being a fool 4) Cheer on everyone’s success— They earned it 5) Win-Give 💯

This is why #MLB needs both a salary floor and a salary cap. The industry payroll differential is so exaggerated that half the teams literally have no-chance at a World Championship.

Including deferred payments, the #Dodgers now have $2.11B of guaranteed salary on their books.

The dodgers will sign Kyle Tucker, trade for Skubal and give him a record setting contract, bring in more people from Japan, defer another billion dollars, and then their fans will proceed to falsely proclaim that everyone else has the ability to do this too The system is broken

Dodgers winning the World Series is the biggest no-brainer in sports. It’s horrible what they are doing and what they will continue to do to this sport.

@ReelMFishman Totally agree. Especially about the umpires. There will be a lot of strategy in using it, which will be fun. However it will take away some utility skills from players like Patrick Bailey and his framing capabilities

@RFLRedZone Was against it until I watched these playoff games... Technology is here. Might as well utilize it. I want it to be based on players and stances. I like the human element but it has become about the decision makers which is bad for the sport. I think there is too much replay

For all the fake Baseball fans who only show up in the postseason, who regurgitate the false narrative the Dodgers just bought there way to success the last few years... They've been an elite organization with a history of building players, who keep investing at all levels

@ReelMFishman That does clear up some things I was unaware of. Btw, what are your thoughts of the ABS being introduced next season?

@RFLRedZone No loophole, structured contracts following the Mets, Red Sox, Reds, Giants, & Orioles did decades before. Also: Milwaukee Brewers received approx $110 million from local revenue sharing plus around $90 million from national revenue sharing, totaling an estimated $200 million

@ReelMFishman Outside of the A’s all teams want to win, because of revenue. Bigger markets have an extreme advantages, and the Dodgers take the benefit of such luxury. They also used loopholes to better the team. However, I will admit fully, their farm and worldwide success is admirable

@RFLRedZone Sounds like the salty response of someone who's a fan of a team that squandered 15 years of the greatest offensive player the game has ever seen by pinching pennies. The Dodgers continue to grow the game worldwide. Every team can and does compete if their ownership is serious

Watching Clayton Kershaw walk of the mound @Dodgers stadium for the last time in the regular season is a heavy but beloved moment

And from me: Shohei Ohtani, baseball unicorn? Giants, teammates in awe of Dodgers’ two-way great, even if they now just expect the impossible from him; and why he's a bargain/positioning LA to be great for a long time. sfchronicle.com/sports/giants/… via @sfchronicle
