What started as a casual hike quickly turned into something a lot more. We headed out under blue skies, but halfway in the weather flipped and the rain came down hard. By the time we reached the falls, it was pouring and the trail was already starting to flood out ☔️🍃🥾🤙🏽✨

Manoa Falls went from easy hike to wild one Monday. Blue skies turned to heavy rain halfway up, pouring by the falls. Trail began flooding on the way down. We helped a few hikers and all made it out safely. Grateful we made back before flooding worsened. 🌴🥾☔️✨

Built in the late 1800s, Kaukahi served as a fishing, surfing and sailing canoe. Restored in 1996 by my Uncle Tay Perry, it sailed in Brest 96 and has been at Outrigger Waikiki for 25 years, now carefully relocated, continuing its journey as a symbol of Hawaiian culture. 🌴🌊✨

Hope everyone got to see the Blood Moon last night! It was awesome watching the lunar eclipse in Waikiki. 🌕 Nothing beats seeing the bright moon turn red right overhead. Full moon and coconut trees for the win. Such a cool moment #Aloha 🌴🌊✨
