If Max goes to Merc AMG then it kills the prospects of both George and Kimi. Max will insist on being the priority driver to the exclusion and detriment of his teammate. Whoever he replaces, the only sensible decision is for the remaing driver to also leave and find a seat elsewhere. Toto will lose both his drivers if he offers Max a seat at Merc AMG and will become a 1 driver team, reducing the chances of winning the WCC and the associated prize money

Y si tiene que hacerle lugar en Mercedes, todo indica que el que saldría es Russell, sea o no campeón. Entiendo que los fans de Russell se enojen, pero a Antonelli no lo va a tocar. Es su apuesta, su protegido, por el que se bancó un montón de críticas; sacarlo sería darle la razón a quienes lo cuestionaron, y eso Toto no lo va a hacer. Además, Kimi es un piloto con muchísimo potencial, en pleno desarrollo, que ya mostró resultados importantes en su segunda temporada. Por otro lado, también hay que entender que si Wolff estuviera realmente interesado en la continuidad de Russell, no habría estirado tanto su renovación ni sería por un solo año. Cuando hay interés de verdad, los contratos suelen ser a largo plazo (Leclerc con Ferrari, Verstappen con Red Bull, incluso Hamilton con Mercedes en el pasado). Hill dice "George siempre es temporal"... Wolff lo demostró cuando le renovó por un año🤷🏻‍♂️.
