Last night, another Jewish synagogue in London was firebombed, this time in Kenton. This is the third such attack in as many days, and also comes after the recent ambulance arson attack and a supposed drone threat against the Israeli embassy in London this week. This is now becoming a terrifying spate of daily arson attacks on the Jewish community. It betrays a cataclysmic failure of the state – politicians, police chiefs and prosecutors – to tackle antisemitic extremism in this country, which has gone largely unchecked for two and a half years. Britain is fundamentally a different country now. Still the Government refuses to proscribe Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, an obvious first step to address foreign radicalisation and interference. It is shocking if apparent concern for the sensitivities of a violent Iranian regime is more important to the Government than the welfare of Jewish people in this country.

The only reason some people deny the theory of evolution is religion.
They’ll comfortably accept:
the theory of gravity,
the theory of special relativity,
the theory of general relativity,
the theory of electromagnetism,
the theory of thermodynamics.
But somehow the theory of evolution suddenly becomes “nonsense” because it clashes with a creation narrative that claims everything was spoken into existence 6,000 years ago, despite the fact that cockroaches have been crawling around for over 300 million years.
Look at all the overwhelming evidence I’ve laid out together in the image, yet it still becomes a problem for them.
At that point, it stops being about evidence and starts being about what a belief system is allowed to accept..
Religion is the leading cause of intellectual dishonesty; pulling people away from reality by conditioning them to reject evidence that contradicts what they’ve been taught to believe!

The US completely won.
Shattered the Iranian military industrial complex, shattered their missile and nuclear capabilities, decapitated their leadership - Obama said this would have required apocalyptic boots on the ground war involving tens of thousands of deaths but it was accomplished with naval and air power.
Completely broke their attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz by blockading their ports.
Killed their top generals, nuclear scientists, guys like Soleimani that can never be replaced.
No endless US military occupation, no boots on the ground, very few civilian casualties by historic standards - aside from the tragic disaster at Minab it was overall one of the most targeted campaigns in military history, more than 21,000 strikes with about 1500 civilian casualties in total.
People will say that they won simply by surviving but their economy is in ruins, they are going into hyperinflation, the regime has never been less popular. Still a strong chance that the regime disintegrates Soviet style over the next year or two.

The war appears to be winding down, which I obviously hope is true. But this war has been a disaster. It will have cost us about $60 billion, loss of life, plus economic & geopolitical damage that could be irreversible. Who benefitted? Think your life will be much different?

The U.S. has 750 bases in 80 countries. That's 150,000+ troops at around $100 billion/year. Germany, Japan, Korea, the UK, Turkey, Qatar, etc.
If you want to end that, then say so. But it's a bit obvious when you focus solely on Israel -- which doesn't have a U.S. base.
