I don't understand why there has to be any rake at all. We enter with essence that's been rewarded, not cash. The long term effects of this are that the bottom 70% of players go essence broke faster and stop playing. Then eventually the next 70% stop until Arena is so ultra-competitive that nobody plays it. This decision is the complete opposite of "sustainable gameplay"
