❗Bandai Namco has suspended in-game purchases for Dragon Ball Legends in Brazil, including Chrono Crystals and new Legends Pass subscriptions, while keeping the game playable. The same restriction is reported to apply to Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle. Existing or renewed Legends Pass benefits will remain active until expiry, while Android subscriptions purchased or renewed before the suspension are expected to be automatically cancelled in May. The company said the measure is necessary to keep the game available in Brazil. The move is likely linked to Brazil’s Digital ECA, known as Lei Felca, which targets paid random rewards and loot box-style mechanics in digital services accessible to minors. Bandai’s decision appears aimed at reducing legal risk under the new rules without immediately introducing age verification, parental controls or separate systems for adult and underage users.
