Because they aren't? Saying Ramielle is based on Ellie effectively does BOTH characters a disservice. Erasing one while denying the other the chance to exist. They share nothing other than the color of their hair and EVEN THEN it's not even close to the same shade.

Why are people so scared of admitting remielle is in fact based on Elysia. Why are people grasping straws denying all of that. Sunbringer is also inspired by Kiana. And like, generally ZZZ is so similar to HI3RD to the point it's like their lost biological child. 😭

@Real_Ravenlock they don't have to share the same weapon, even variants don't (mei and yae both use swords, ei uses a polearm and yae miko uses a catalyst), weapon is really not an indicator of anything

@Real_Ravenlock it's not elysia herself but the term expy is important here (not variant, the way cyrene is an elysia variant). regardless of terminology, i think anyone who actually plays both games would be able to see the similarities
