The idiots come out in full force during the playoffs. Was it a penalty, no. But a toe pick is not a dive. It’s surprising they can’t tell what a dive is, since they do it 10-15 times a game.

One week ago we were not sure if Miro Heiskanen would even play in the first round series. Tonight Heiskanen played a career-high 43:05 on 42 shifts. He played 10:57 on the power play, 9:54 on the PK. Makar and Hughes may be the best on the planet but Heiskanen isn't far behind.

@RussoHockey So no player hearing meetings I guess for Benn or Johnston. 💯if that was our player we would have been shorthanded 5 minutes and a hearing with suspension today. Seems all one sided. 4 match penalties none called, Guessing payback for 53 will be reg season game next year.

Hynes talked to rookie Danila Yurov after the game in the changing room to make sure he was OK after the penalty that led to Dallas' GW OTG: "He was obviously upset, and I couldn't imagine a young kid like him the way that he must have felt. And I thought it was important that he recognized that the game's not on him. It was a mistake. We all make mistakes. He wasn't the only one in the game, and to keep his head up. And we got his back, and don't sit on it. It's playoffs. We win as a team, we lose as a team. It's not on one guy. I think he felt better, and I'll check in with him again today to just make sure he's doing okay, but I know he's supported by his teammates as well."
