So wait - U.S. Senate candidate @MalloryMcMorrow is going viral for doing an influencer video on surveillance pricing, but as a state senator, McMorrow hasn’t actually sponsored Democrats’ surveillance pricing bill in her own legislature? Do I have that right?
Lee Hepner@LeeHepner

There’s a bill to ban surveillance pricing in McMorrow’s legislature right now. She hasn’t sponsored it. McMorrow’s own Congressmember, Rep. Tlaib, introduced a ban in grocery stores. Sen. Gallego and Rep. Casar have economy-wide bans. Bizarre to say she’ll “introduce a bill.”

with all due respect, this issue is not about Hasan. It is about Mallory McMorrow being a bigot to win her Senate race against a Muslim. It is about Democrats refusing to allow Muslims to speak at the DNC. It is about AIPAC and its ethnosupremacist efforts to drive Muslims out of US public life. This is not about Hasan in any way. It is about pure racism, and whether we, as a country will allow it from the morally bankrupt creeps who have populated the Democratic Party.

The Dem establishment spent half a year blubbering about how we need a liberal Joe Rogan. Hasan's one of the very few "popular streamers whose base is young men" we have, and it's freaking wild that the very folks arguing Dems need a "big tent" are trying to push him out of the tent. So the tent needs to be big enough to include Big Tech and crypto and Wall Street -- interest groups whose influence genuinely makes our party's platform and rhetoric less popular to masses of Americans -- but not big enough for the exact influencers we identified as one of our biggest weaknesses. (Who, by the way, is one of the few streamers who actually consciously redirects anti-Zionist anger away from Jews as a whole.)

New: @hasanthehun is driving a wedge in the Democratic Party. @playbookdc surveyed 14 potential '28 Dem candidates, asking whether they would appear on a livestream with Piker if invited. Only 3 definitively said they would. Plus: my interview w/ Piker. politico.com/newsletters/pl…

I was told last week Jamal Rule has a legit chance to start at RB for Nebraska. I was skeptical. I am no longer skeptical. He's a tough one.

Correct. And the current astroturfed Hasan freakout is precisely because Dem elites know that they can no longer control the base.

“I’m a megaphone, right?” @hasanthehun tells me. “There are a lot of Barbs and Deborahs out there in Minneapolis, for example, that have never encountered me, and yet they share that frustration with the failures of establishment liberalism all the same.” politico.com/news/2026/03/2…

Nwarneri running with 2s and how he has looked is incredibly disappointing. One of those players you wanted to see figure it out and take a jump for that DL 🙈

Hasan isn’t driving a wedge into the party, the failed, repeatedly discredited yet unfortunately still entrenched corporate wing of the party is. They fear the left’s growing power and see Hasan as a way to make us argue amongst ourselves. We shouldn’t fall for it.

Seriously, it’s refreshing to see the Nebraska spring game presented and treated with the proper context. Thanks to basketball and the early date, it’s not a BIG deal. It never should’ve been a BIG deal. This is what it used to be like. When Nebraska won.

If your first response to being asked about whether there’s a genocide in Gaza is to ridicule even asking the question or using the term, and then immediately pivot to Oct 7 and Israel’s ‘right to defend’ itself, and then only blaming Trump while ignoring Biden, then you’re probably not the right guy to be the 2028 Dem presidential candidate for the current party base (or American public for that matter).
POLITICO@politico

Dem @GovAndyBeshear is declining to call Israel’s actions in Gaza “genocide.” “That’s becoming one of those new litmus tests that we said we would never do as a party,” he told our @DashaBurns on #TheConversation. Listen to the full interview: politi.co/4uVmEfE

Then why aren’t you endorsing candidates who are facing these dark money interests?
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez@AOC

@MartinShkreli Personally I think we should get rid of all of it. I refuse all corporate lobbyist money and I don’t believe we should be bankrolled by special interests at all. Each cycle the big dark money interests rotate - NRA, AIPAC, fossil fuel lobby, etc. This cycle it’s the AI lobby.
