NEURALINK IS ALREADY CHANGING LIVES — AND IT’S JUST GETTING STARTED Neuralink isn’t a distant sci-fi concept anymore. It’s real, it’s implanted in humans right now, and it’s restoring capabilities that were once considered permanently lost. Here’s why Neuralink’s impact is so profound: • Restoring independence to paralyzed people — Patients who lost use of their hands or entire bodies can now move cursors, type, play games, and browse the internet using only their thoughts. No joysticks, no eye-tracking, no assistants needed. • Blindsight on the horizon — The next major leap (pending approval) is restoring vision even for people who are completely blind, starting at low resolution and improving over time. • Full body functionality coming — The long-term goal is to give people with spinal cord injuries or neurological damage full control of their limbs again — walking, using hands, regaining independence. • Human-AI symbiosis — Beyond fixing disabilities, Neuralink is building a high-bandwidth link between the brain and AI so humanity can keep pace with superintelligence instead of being left behind. Elon Musk on Neuralink’s mission: “The goal of Neuralink is to achieve a symbiosis with AI, to help humans keep up with AI and not be left behind.” This is more than medical technology. This is the beginning of the next chapter of human evolution — where disabilities are reversed, dignity is restored, and humanity gains the tools to thrive alongside superintelligent AI. Neuralink is moving faster than almost any medical technology in history — and the best is still ahead.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Congrats to the @Neuralink team for helping many people who have lost use of their body with our Telepathy implant that enables computer use simply by thinking! The next generation Neuralink cybernetic augment with 3X capability will be ready later this year. Pending regulatory approval, we are also ready to do our first Blindsight augment that will enable those who have even complete loss of vision to see in low resolution at first, leading to high resolution over time.

Many still don’t understand why Elon is building Terafab Terafab is an extension to all the chip makers in the world It’s not about replacement, not a rivalry and absolutely not competing It’s being built to fulfill the massive chip orders that Tesla, SpaceX and xAI actually need TSMC’s most advanced 2nm capacity is totally booked through 2028 Tesla signed a massive $16.5 billion deal with Samsung back in July 2025 to produce AI6 chips at their Taylor, Texas factory and Samsung is building a Tesla Exclusive chip manufacturing plant to full fill this orders When Elon announced Terafab on March 21, 2026...he made it clear: “That rate is much less than we’d like. We either build the Terafab or we don’t have the chips, and we need the chips, so we build the Terafab” He basically told the chip makers: “Produce as much as you comfortably can. We will take them all. Actually we want even more” Even today Elon said: "SpaceX/Tesla will be always be major customers of TSMC and not competitors in the normal sense of the word" Current production rates are much less than they need....That’s why Terafab exists Terafab is an extension to every chip maker… not competition, not rivalry, absolutely not Even Intel has joined as a partner Even if chip supply improves, massive bottlenecks still exist with memory and advanced packaging You simply can't risk those supply chain breaks at this scale That’s why Terafab is being built to vertically integrate everything - chips, memory, advanced packaging all under one roof, targeting 1 terawatt of AI compute capacity per year This is a ludicrous amount of chips that no chipmaker currently produces at this scale. I don't think even TSMC and Samsung truly understand these numbers yet It’s about building the capacity the future actually demands

@BehindK__ @cb_doge @elonmusk Skepticism is healthy but cynicism isn't. Neuralink is already giving paralysed people real independence today. The data, trials, and market trajectory support that. Happy to agree to disagree. I don't have time to keep going back and forth. Wishing you the best.

"For people that have lost a limb, arm or leg, In the future, we'll be able to attach an Optimus arm or legs, working with Neuralink and Tesla. So it goes far beyond just operating a robot hand, but replacing limbs and having kind of a whole body robot experience." 一 Elon Musk

The BCI market is already ~$3 billion in 2025 and growing at 15-16% CAGR toward $10-13B+ by 2035 hardly a rounding error. Neuralink alone targets $1 billion annual revenue by 2031 from real medical use. Military contracts can accelerate things (as they did for SpaceX), but the big long-term money is in the 1.3 billion disabled + aging population market. Dismissing disproportionate patient benefits as a “dream” while ignoring actual progress is just copium. The tech is delivering independence today, not hidden black-budget fantasies.

Calling real clinical trial data with 21 participants (as of Jan 2026) a 'marketing demo' is just moving the goalposts. These are paralysed patients in FDA-regulated PRIME studies and not captive volunteers. Neuralink reports no serious device-related adverse effrcts after thousands of usage hours. Disabled participants lives have changed disproportionately. Every V1 tech has risks, but dismissing proven function in humans today as “frying brains later” is classic skepticism that delayed SpaceX too. The tech is working for disabled people right now that's the litmus test.

'North America held the largest revenue share in 2024, at USD 85.7 million, and also reached USD 105.8 million in 2025. North America continues to lead the global BCI market due to its strong concentration of advanced healthcare infrastructure, neuroscience research funding, and early adoption of novel neurotechnologies.' This “VC story, not patients” take is the same black-is-white skepticism that said SpaceX would not work. Neuralink has 21 real trial participants in 2026 already controlling devices, playing games, and restoring speech via thought and just not projections, actual results. The BCI market is growing at 15-16% CAGR toward tens of billions, driven by 1.3 billion disabled people + aging demand. Early medtech always looks like a “bubble” to doubters until it ships and scales. The monetidable users are the paralysed patients benefiting today. History shows the ROI comes from delivery, not just the pitch.

Clinical trials are the real test and Neuralink already has 21 participants in 2026 using it daily: controlling computers, playing games, restoring speech, studying for exams with no adverse issues caused by the BCI implant. Every breakthrough tech (SpaceX included) starts 'curated' before scaling to 10k+. Even the choice of the clothing you are wearing right now is curated. Bug reports are inevitable, but the data from actual paralysed patients today shows it works and delivers value. This isn’t hype. It’s progress for disabled people with a real path to broad adoption. The “wait for perfect scale” skepticism changes nothing, the tech is already helping.

NEURALINK: Neuralink has acquired Yan Ma as BCI Product Lead Engineer. Yan was over Machine Learning and Computer Vision for DEX at Headout. DEX is an AI-powered audio tours and guide app that turns physical locations such as the Louvre, London, NYC, and Paris into cinematic experiences using immersive storytelling, interactive characters, sound design, games, and location-aware conversational AI. He also founded at Dabble Studio, a synthetic/virtual photo studio for e-commerce that used hyper-realistic CGI and computer vision to allow brands to create professional product photos without physical shoots. Now consider all of that and apply it in certain ways to a Neuralink BCI... 👀 Per Yan, “I have decided to hang my hats and take on a different career challenge. Super excited to announce that I have joined Neuralink, and their mission to restore autonomy to millions of people with paralysis and neural degenerative diseases!” More Neuralink news in the ELON CHRON below!

WHOA, TESLA JUST SOLVED THE HARDEST PROBLEM IN ROBOTICS AND IT IS EPIC! It took millions of years to perfect the human hand and Tesla just engineered a 22 degree of freedom masterpiece in a few years that makes it look easy. These April 16, 2026 patents is up revolutionary. They have turned the entire Optimus forearm into a high density powerhouse with 25 motors driving a super light, tendon powered hand that can delicately crack an egg or swing a sledgehammer with insane grip strength! Picture this: actuators packed like a futuristic engine room in a staggered cylindrical layout (tiny 12mm linear motors for the fingers plus bigger ones for the wrist), all routed through a genius cantilevered hollow wrist joint that keeps the cable highway wide open no matter how it bends: No pinching, no fatigue, no bulky junk in the palm. Just pure, puppet like dexterity thanks to flexible composite ligaments made from Nitinol (that shape memory super metal) and Vectran fabrics sandwiched with elastomeric layers. Nitinol is “memory metal” that can be brought back to the ground state under correct thermal conditions. These artificial ligaments are thicker at the base where the force is highest, with seven layer sandwiches that laugh at metal fatigue. Wires run right through the neutral bending plane so they never stretch or snap. It is biomechanical poetry. No fragile lab toy but it is built for mass production. By moving everything to the forearm and using passive spring returns, Tesla slashed part counts, cut costs dramatically, and doubled the DoF from Gen 2. Optimus V3 is about to go from folding laundry to heavy industrial tasks with buttery smooth precision, powered by AI5 chips. We are talking scalable humanoid robots that could replace physical labor, crank out a million units a year, and hit that 20k target. Elon and the Tesla team are not just innovating. They are redefining the future of work and humanity itself. This is the stuff that changes everything. Optimus V3 is going to be legendary. I cannot wait to see it in action!
