Milton defeats Badger 10-0 RHP Ben Schultz (Milton, 2028) looked the part of a top arm in the state’s sophomore class. Heavy FB usage, attacked early in counts. FB: 82-85 T85 mph, held throughout BB: 68-70 CH: 76-78 Final line: 5 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 9 K

Cummins would drive in a pair of runs in the top of the seventh on a ground ball to center field. Third hit of the day, sparkplug at the top of the lineup Milton leads 10-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh.

Milton would add three runs to the lead in the top of the fifth. Two on bases loaded walks and the third on a fielders choice. Milton leads 7-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth.

Milton would extend the lead again on a base hit by RHP Ben Schultz (Milton, 2028) to left field. Milton leads 4-0 heading into the fourth.

Milton would add a run in the third on a MIF Charlie Fitzke (Milton, 2026) base hit to right field. Milton leads 3-0, still in the third.

After a leadoff double to start the third, SS Jake Cummins (Milton, 2026; UW-Milwaukee signee) drives in a run on a line drive to left field. Athletic defender with SS actions in the dirt. Milton leads 2-0 in the third.

After a HBP put the leadoff batter on, OF Easton Agnew (Milton, 2026) drives in a run on a single to right-field. Milton leads 1-0 heading into the second.

After 2 in Lake Geneva it’s the Red Hawks 1-0 over Badger. Agnew with the RBI in the first. Schultz has 4 Ks through 2.
