@persianjewess Inshallah = If Allah wills it Wow, the level of stupidity is breathtaking. Under any regime that follows Islam, she would be beaten, raped, imprisoned, and probably hung for how she is dressed and comports herself.

@cole_groth @FreeWayCS @libra989 @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener They’re not called “TrackZionists” they’re called “TrackAIPAC”. They don’t put big letters saying “ZIONIST” on red posts, they put dollar amounts. When people see a red graphic with “$86,000” they assume that person took $86k in pro-Israel PAC money. Plus they do double standards

@cole_groth @FreeWayCS @libra989 @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener They’re called “TrackAIPAC” and they claim to be tracking members based on campaign finance from the Israel lobby. But then they hold candidates to different standards based on who they like, use disingenuous metrics like counting individual donations, etc. Dishonest, misleading.

@cole_groth @JustParody703 @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener 1) Counting $ given to “pro-Israel PACs” by INDIVIDUALS who donate to a candidate is crazy, no one would ever have $0. 2) They don’t do that for all candidates. Saikat gets a 0 bc he took no PAC $, but they do this to Scott who also took no PAC $. It’s a dishonest double standard

@JustParody703 @RepDickSwett @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener I'm just struggling to see what you find to be dishonest here. Track AIPAC is their name. Do you think they should only be allowed to track money from one specific PAC? What about when they hide their money when they don’t want to be called out? What's wrong with this graphic?

@RepDickSwett @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener You do understand that Weiner is an open Zionist and Chakrabarti is anti-Zionist, right? Tracking Israeli money is impossible because of the games they play; it's very fair to simply label Zionists with the red label instead of giving a Zionist a green label for a technicality.

@cole_groth @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener THERE IS NO LOBBY INVOLVED HERE. They are counting INDIVIDUALS making their own donations who have also previously donated to some PAC they deem “pro-Israel.” Worse yet, THEY DON’T COUNT THAT FOR EVERYONE, only candidates they don’t like! They’re lying, they’re being misleading.

@RepDickSwett @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener It’s not "misleading" to adapt to a lobby that intentionally hides its influence through bundling and shell orgs. If the red label matches the candidate’s actual platform, the transparency is working. You're just arguing for the loopholes.

@cole_groth @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener An account claiming to bring transparency to dark money organizations should be transparent and not intentionally misleading. The fact that AIPAC does awful things doesn’t mean those opposing AIPAC should do the same.

@cole_groth @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener No, I’m not. They are called track aipac. They put dollar amounts in big bold letters. Any policy notes are in tiny small print. They know and you know that most people just see “red bad green good” and don’t read it. It is a blatant double standard they use to mislead.

@RepDickSwett @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener You're missing the forest for the trees. The goal of tracking is to identify a candidate’s political alignment. Whether it’s direct PAC money or a concentrated donor base with specific interests, the signal is the same. People use these metrics to identify Zionists in office.

@cole_groth @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener Okay, that doesn’t require the deceptive graphics and double standards around donations? If they wanna be “track Zionism” and give out red graphics for political positions go right ahead, but right now they’re pretending to be about money and other objective metrics.

@BoreJoka @airoderinde @TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener They’re called “track AIPAC” and they’re putting up a big red graphic with a dollar amount. They’re trying to make people think he took aipac money, when he never took any pac money. It’s blatant dishonesty.

@TrackAIPAC @Scott_Wiener You people are complete liars. Scott took no money from PACs, but you’re counting money from individuals who gave to PACs for him. You’re not holding Saikat to the same standard. This kind of shit is disqualifying.

@slope_s_ @maxdubler This started with Saikat explaining his tangential relationship to SF and Scott making a one off “my relationship is that I’ve lived here for 29 years” joke. That’s not exactly a central part of the campaign.

This is funny, because Scott Wiener is the quintessential San Francisco political carpetbagger. He’s from New Jersey, and moved here after Harvard at around age 30, because SF city elections are an easy entry point for careerism leading to national office.

@blahEhhGee @mattyglesias This is all purely a reaction to Republicans gerrymandering. Democrats have consistently tried to pass bills banning gerrymandering at the federal level and Republicans oppose it. We can end this once and for all if Republicans just vote to do non-partisan redistricting.

@pwhlharkness @loserhollanov But it’s not misleading. The fact that some people incorrectly assumed what they meant doesn’t mean it’s inaccurate. When multiple other women’s hockey leagues have failed, it’s perfectly reasonable to characterize the success of another women’s hockey league as unlikely.

@RepDickSwett @loserhollanov the video itself has a more detailed and accurate description of the league and its success but i’m just saying that the title is misleading and poorly phrased. this specific league was not unlikely due to the different management strategies
