@DunklerPrinz3 Dr. Beanies says they've already used the time machine a bunch, so I think the player has just messed up the timeline enough beforehand that now memories of the past are getting mixed up with reality. Parts of Isaac like his stories are now becoming mixed up with truth.

mewgenics boss/area idea I had: Area: Delerium, acts as a final superboss area. Is a boss rush area where there are multiple Isaac themed bosses which are reskins/harder versions of previous bosses. The area is unlocked after beating the final boss of the base game
