Problem: Android Auto says “Google Play Music doesn’t seem to be working right now”. Solution: On your phone go to Settings, Device Care, Battery, 3-dot symbol in upper right corner, Settings, Sleeping Apps, Google Play Music, Battery, Allow background activity, Remove. That's it
