👉 I would urge the Hon’ble Assam CM to reconsider his stand, irrespective of Monday’s outcome, especially in light of the remarks quoted in the judgment. Supreme Court constitutes special bench to hear tomorrow, 2nd May, All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) plea against Calcutta High Court order rejecting its plea that challenged the deployment of only Central government and PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) employees as supervisors in the vote counting in West Bengal assembly elections. A bench of Justices PS Narasimha and Joymalya Bagchi to hear the plea at 10:30 AM tomorrow.

A segment of the converted population today exhibits a fascinatingly warped historical amnesia. They carry surnames given to them by colonial masters and follow a faith forced upon their forefathers through blood and fire, yet they never dare to question the legitimacy of that transition. They will scrutinize every ritual of the Sanatana fold, calling ancient traditions "superstition," yet they remain subservient to a theology that was used as a tool for their own ancestors' enslavement. They question the "Parashurama legend" while standing on the very ground he reclaimed. They mock the roots that nourished their lineage for ten thousand years, while clinging to a "bag of rice" legacy that is barely five centuries old. The ancestors who "converted" did so out of fear, torture, or economic strangulation. To see their descendants today championing that colonial identity while disparaging their original Vedic roots is a testament to the deep-seated psychological conditioning left behind by the "conversion mafia."
