Don’t get me wrong, I love the pressure our pressing games puts on teams. Especially up here. But they’ve used it to move our midfield out the way time and time again to play that pass into feet up top.

Each time we play, Brighton’s centre backs or the goalkeeper play a pass through the press, finding Welbeck or someone who’d dropped in between our midfield and defence. That’s not any ‘hoodoo’ at the Amex. It’s a team that knows how to play against us, and we never cut it out.
