There are millions of fathers who are strangers in their own homes. They leave before the kids wake up and return after they sleep, destroying their bodies to pay for good schools, vacations, and to make sure the home does not lack. They hardly get to enjoy time alone to bond with their kids. The tragedy is that the family enjoys the lifestyle he provides but resents his absence. He is hardly ever appreciated because he is unable to attend the school functions he paid for. He is viewed as an ATM, not a parent.He is funding a life that will eventually make him resented.
