I'm very interested to see whether Neil Pierre returns to Philadelphia Union this summer or stays with Lyngby in Denmark. That decision is one of the first real indicators of the direction Philly is heading after the recent changes. In my mind, Pierre is an upgrade over what I've seen from the first-team CB group.

Terrible timing, but probably for the best. I love him and he’s brilliant on his day but he clearly isn’t mentally capable of being the focal point on the team. Maybe he thrives on a team where there’s other competent attackers, though his attitude has been worrying.

If we return to a back four you could move Saelemaekers back up, but let’s be real he is NOT a top quality attacker by any means. I’d rather he fully make the switch to right back and we use Bartesaghi as a stay at home left back instead.

Gimenez may be gone, they don’t trust Camarda, Leao gone, meaning the only two attackers in the team would be Pulisic and Nkunku. That’s insane, and I have no clue what they’re going to do with the limited budget that they have. Gimenez staying doesn’t change much either.

Not sure where Milan go from here. Leao, despite his talent, always felt like a player coaches were struggling to work around. No one else in the squad can break a game open like him besides Pulisic (at a much lower frequency). You could argue this team needs AT LEAST 3 attackers
