Jacksonville knows what it looks like when something real is being built.
As someone who’s been proud to represent this city on and off the field, I’m excited about what’s coming next with @sporting_jax.
Stay tuned. #DUUUVAL
Happy Friday Everyone
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. - Isaiah 12:2
“The popular notion which goes like this, ‘God rewards good people and punishes bad people,’ is turned on its head when we read the Bible.”
— Alistair Begg
It can be a challenge to remember that what we’ve been given isn’t meant to be held onto. But there’s real joy in growing it and using our talents and resources well.
With each day, we have the privilege of walking with Jesus as Lord and knowing Him more. That can only lead us to deeper gratitude for what we’ve been given.
"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." - Colossians 2:6-7
Philippians 3:7–8 (ESV) Whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ, because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
As I celebrate Christmas at the White House alongside leaders from across our nation, the weight and history of the place are not lost on me. It’s a reminder of the blessings our country has known and the truth that we are all in need of a Savior.

It’s easy to look like everything’s in order on the outside, while quietly running on empty. But when we stop trying to control the outcome and start walking by faith, that’s when we become most ready to play our role in God’s greater plan.
…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13-14
