After 25 years on this planet I have finally found the silver lining to having stubby sausage fingers and it is that I am instantly the least eligible person in a group to be chosen to do a manual disimpaction. #Blessed

Saw a patient today who had a corrections officer present in the room who ate peanut butter from a jar with a plastic fork for the full 10 minute patient encounter, all while rocking the worst over-gelled bowl cut I’ve ever seen.

Very upsetting that eating local honey doesn’t actually help with allergies. One of those myths that you wanna believe is true given the benefit to local businesses and bees alike.

First day of my Medicine rotation my attending complimented my hair and said I had “fantastic flow”

Love my jogger scrub bottoms but I swear they are designed to retain as much heat as possible. I didn’t know my shins sweat before these pants.

I explained to her that that was a dishonest thing to say given most studies showing a net decrease in overall cancer despite the increased risk of BrCA. She then started accusing the medical society of knowing nothing about female repro.

Got blocked by a family member for objecting to a post they made stating that all physicians who prescribe OCP’s to teens for acne/dysmenorrhea should be imprisoned bc they’re a known carcinogen.

Thanks to Obama joking about Biden being VP, and undoubtedly Fox News’ interesting and insightful take on the matter, the simple A&O x4 question on my exams has gotten much more confusing and political than I want it to be.

I then said “P-E-E-P” instead of “peep” and got laughed out of the room again. Please show me the rule book

Called it “bun” instead of “B-U-N” and my attending told me to kill myself

I came up with a terrible joke to impress my neurology attending: What algorithm do Shepards use to determine if they should eat a sheep with a neuromuscular disorder? Lamb-hurt? —> Eat-em (This is a Lambert-Eaton joke)
