Columbia River wins its first volleyball state championship since 2000.

Congratulations to Emma Adams of Columbia River volleyball, voted on by fans as our Week 7 fall sports prep athlete of the week. Emma, the Chieftains’ libero, had 37 digs and four aces in two league wins last week.

2A GSHL volleyball: Columbia River sweeps Washougal, 25-11, 25-11, 25-12. Rylie Reeves with 14 kills and 16 digs to pace the Chieftains.

Players of all sports.. If you really want to win at a high level stop tolerating teammates missing practices, not working in the off season, complaining about their roles or playing time and mostly of all just being selfish. These actions are kryponite to real success #MEDL
