most people don’t have an attention problem. they have a relevance problem. getting attention online has never been easier. post something controversial. copy a viral format. say something outrageous. people will look. the hard part is giving them a reason to come back. that’s why some people have a banger post today and become invisible tomorrow. not because people are wicked and don’t want to engage. but because attention follows value. a creator that stops being interesting loses attention. a project that stops being useful loses attention. the attention didn’t disappear. the reason to pay attention disappeared. attention gets people to notice you. value gives them a reason to return.
