I'm sorry, but this is a strange debate for the Derby goal. Surely if he's "a millimetre offside", he is still offside. VAR was brought in to make sure decisions were correct. This is. If a goal is only a millimetre over the line, is it not a goal? #bbcfootball

@Paulc01989 Was it though.. If it was in line with the defenders shoulder then it wasn't offside but they used foot position which was further back so the decision was made using the wrong standard #bbcfootball

However it isn't VARs fault its the refs, they don't seem to review on screen and rely on others who don't seem to know a standard to use.. #bbcfootball

So kane was ruled onside when he was off and now waghorn is offside when he was level. Refs do know that lines are drawn from whatever usable body part is furthest forward..they seem to focus on defenders foot position though. Hence 2 wrong calls..#bbcfootball
