Agenda and negative narrative about Arsenal and Arteta is always on steroids with the English media. A weekend where the defending champions were beaten by Brentford in the 4th consecutive loss after spending double record transfers this summer, City losing to Villa and Chelsea losing to newly promoted Sunderland despite the huge amount they have spent also!! But look at the distasteful agenda they are trying to push about a club that just won their game to go 4pts clear at the top of the table!! Some Arsenal fans think Arsenal will get celebrated if they won the treble…..I have a bridge to sell to you if you believe that. They will find something negative to push about winning the treble as long as its Arsenal. So better enjoy the little wins and stop looking for unnecessary validation from the media!

Here’s where Arsenal fans get confused: Lots of people now saying Arsenal HAVE to win the title, HUGE bottlejob if we don’t. Ok, fine, we’re favourites. So we must have some world class players in our squad, some of the best in their position, right? But if we say that, we’re delusional and overhyping our players. Ok so we don’t have any of the best players, but we still HAVE to win the league, Arteta must be a world class manager then, right? But no, he’s “never won anything” and “isn’t even top 10”, Arsenal fans overhype him. So we don’t have the best players or the best manager, but not winning the league would be a HUGE bottlejob, how does that work? “You have the best squad depth”. Oh ok, so depth of squad is the most important factor in winning a title? But last season, when we had no depth and insane injuries, that was just an excuse and not allowed to be considered a factor? See how it gets confusing?

I find it strange how Arsenal is constantly used for rage bait these days. Premier League clubs signed several strikers this season, yet none of them have scored more than Gyökeres. Still, people claim it’s not enough until he proves himself in the big games. When Ekitike missed a sitter recently, no one seemed to care, but the moment Gyökeres had a poor first touch, it became a talking point. Arsenal have scored the most goals this season, yet the narrative is that we’re “too defensive.” Meanwhile, the so-called attacking Liverpool haven’t even outscored Arsenal. It feels like Arsenal’s name is just used whenever someone wants to draw attention.
