In 1965, a group of professionals established the South Carolina Industrial Developers’ Association — now SCEDA. United by a shared belief in the state’s potential, they established the organization which began work in 1966. This year, #SCEDA celebrates its 60th anniversary!

The South Carolina Community Development Block Grant, a local government grant program, announced it is distributing more than $12 million to communities throughout South Carolina. These funds will aid public improvement projects and vital equipment needs.
