Three IIITH professors have been awarded the Prime Minister’s Early Career Research Grant by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). Prof. Chittaranjan Hens will explore network stability in ecosystems and healthcare. Prof. Karthik Vaidyanathan focuses on sustainable AI systems for India, aiming to reduce AI’s carbon footprint. Prof. Gowtham Kurri is researching privacy-preserving machine learning and information leakage. The grants provide up to 60 lakhs for innovative research in critical fields like AI, ecology, and data privacy.
