Première fois de ma vie que l’on me menace de mort, un plaisir le jour de mon anniversaire 🤡 Bref, on se donne pendant des mois pour un event avec des dettes, pour que les gens oublient tout le taf accompli pour une affiche avec même pas 10 % d’IA. Ça me rend bien triste, et ce qui me rend encore plus triste, c’est pour les 30 bénévoles à la production qui en paient les frais, et pour ça je m’en veux personnellement. On ne crache pas sur un événement créé par des jeunes, avec autant de bénévoles, autant d’envie et de passion. Pour bien discuter avec des grosses boîtes de production comme Gozulting ou Webedia, Smash est un jeu compliqué à financer dans l’organisation de gros tournois, et sans la passion il n’y aurait plus de gros événements. Pour rappel, ici l’éditeur ne soutient pas les organisateurs de tournois. Vouloir boycotter un tournoi avec -10 % d’IA sur une affiche post-event, c’est aussi supprimer l’un des potentiels énormes tournois en Europe. Moi, je ne suis pas de la scène Smash, mais vraiment ce genre de situation ne me donne pas du tout envie de continuer Citadel sur Smash Bros. Ça a été une erreur d’utiliser l’IA dans une communauté qui déteste l’IA, je le reconnais et je l’assume personnellement. On apprend et on avance. Et pour beaucoup, on a gagné énormément d’argent et on est sur une plage de sable blanc à Hawaï. Pour rappel, organiser un tournoi de cette envergure, ça ne gagne pas d’argent, au contraire, on en perd, et pas quelques euros. Je pense qu’il n’y a que les organisateurs de tournois, peu importe le jeu, qui comprennent ça, qui comprennent les soirées passées devant un tableau Google Sheets à essayer d’optimiser le moindre euro. Ce tweet ne représente que ma vision et mon ressenti.

First time getting top 8 at a C-tier, but not the last 😋 7th / 79 at Splashborg Resort, beating Crov, Akagi, Joykong and Nezoxy, while losing to Pipwolf and Joykong in the runback. GGs. Love this community 💪
