There are a number of Scots - including Sid Khan from Glasgow - who were on the Flotilla, which has now been intercepted by Israeli forces. The UK Government should demand no harm comes to them, or anyone aboard this humanitarian mission. End the blockade and let aid into Gaza!

Alex Salmond’s memory will live on for many many years to come. He was the first person since 1707 to bring Scotland near to regaining our independence. Had he lived he would have continued to play a key role in making sure the independence cause is successful.
