I know from my own losses and in reading your comments on X/Twitter how distraught many of you are with falling share prices. In looking at the likely 2026 industry-wide Box Office, we still expect it to grow materially over 2025 and if so that inexorably would significantly increase AMC’s EBITDA. However, the external macro backdrop around us is terrible. War in the Middle East, world oil prices soaring above $100 per barrel and other concerns have knocked the Dow Jones average to its lowest point in five months and the S&P 500 to its lowest point in four months. As for AMC, I am optimistic about our power to increase our earnings this year over last year. As for the state of the world, we will all read the news together. Naturally, we all can wish for the best on global developments.

Adam knows why. It’s all part of the transactions AMC is currently doing to exchange debt for equity. That’s why he doesn’t comment on the share price. The CFO negotiates these deals. If AMC ran, the run would be stymied because it would distort the CFO’s ability to negotiate based on share price or VWAP. Once AMC is done with these transactions, short interest will drop, the price will normalize and MAYBE we could see organic price action.

Adam is the only reason the company hasn't filed for bankruptcy. If the company does file for chapter 11, it's Hollywood's fault. Any other CEO would have waived the white flag already and likely not taken their compensation through diluted and worthless shares but milked the company's revenue to take millions before exiting with an umbrella package.

The only reason markets recovered today - is the news effecting oil - news moves oil - 400MM barrel of reserves released and a promise of war ending quickly - isn’t that what Bush said about Iraq 🤣🤣🤣 Today showed how dangerous oil can be to markets - alternative energy is decades away if not more .. Oil has the power to literally expire global economies if sources are cuts off. I see OIL hitting 140 in the near future - and staying escalated for a month - from there it’s the greatest short in history to $45
