In the 1st paper, @J_H_ohner, @AzadeKakavand, & @SRothut show how TikTok serves as a mobilisation platform for German far-right factions and introduce a unique methodology, integrating manual annotation with image frame classification and machine-learning-driven content analysis.

2/5 Through a systematic review of 143 studies, our paper conceptualizes mainstreaming as an iterative, gradual, multi-layered process consisting of two steps (content positioning, susceptibility) and incorporating several sub-processes.

3/5 With this, we offer a new framework for understanding how radical and extremist ideas infiltrate mainstream discourse. Our paper highlights the importance of recognizing mainstreaming as a strategic effort by radical and extremist actors to subtly shift public discourse.

4/5 The conceptual model, as well as the 12 mainstreaming factors, can aid researchers, policymakers, and the public in monitoring mainstreaming dynamics and combating the subtle integration of extremist narratives into the center of society. #prevention
