@getonthestiix Nioh came out in a time when souls games created a new sub genre for action RPGs. Ninja Gaiden by itself isolated a lot of gamers in a time of God of War and DMC. Both of the latter games were made to be either more accessible or more creative.

Brother. You compared Nintendo to Playstation. They are remotely different. Nintendo decided to step away in the power race with hardware and made theirs portable and cheaper meaning they can play their games outside the living room. Second, neither Playstation or Xbox don't have the IPs that match attach rates with that little red plumber, that little green elf or Pikachu for that matter. So no Playstation and Xbox isn't in the same boat as Nintendo. And if they were, there wouldn't even be a discussion regarding exclusives between the two. You can argue 2+3=4 all you want, but it doesn't. It equals 5 yesterday, today, and it will tomorrow. The math is not on your side.
