Our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Conference took place today in Belfast MET E3 campus. This planning day is an essential part of our school evaluation and improvement processes, as we plan for our new School Development Plan 2025-28.

April Scientists of the Month! Each teacher in the science department selected a stand out pupil from across all their classes for the month of April. A big deal to be selected and a reflection of the pupils hard work. Well done to all the pupils selected!

A huge thank you to all parents and guardians for their support and assistance during the year.  The team are relishing the challenges that lie ahead when they will compete in the Leonard Cup at the start of the next academic year

They then travelled to the National GAA Centre in Abbottstown to compete in the Fr Alec Reid tournament against some of the best hurling schools in Ireland including- Thurles CBS, Nenagh CBS, Naas CBS, Coláiste Mhuire and Ardscoil Rís- eventually running out winners

Cruz scored a goal in the semi-final win over Reds Academy, Dubai and Michael finished as top scorer and player of the tournament. Both boy are playing for NI at a tournament in Spain next week.

A massive well done to Michael Mulholland and Cruz Devlin-Amoh in 10G who helped Crusaders Football Academy U14s reach the final at a prestigious tournament in Dubai.

Good luck to our Year 14 student, Conor O'Neill, who is part of the @officialdowngaa squad playing against Tyrone in the u20 All-Ireland B final this weekend @BredaghGAC1

On the team’s behalf we want to thank our canteen staff who have prepared breakfast after each training session ensuring that the pupils were prepared for their school day ahead. Lastly, and most importantly, we want to wish our pupils well as they embark upon their GCSE exams.

The team reached 3 Ulster Finals in a row, losing by a point in the year 10 final, winning the Leonard Cup competition last year and reaching this year’s final.

Unfortunately, this year’s Ulster Schools’ Forrester’s Cup competition was deemed null and void. There were two factors that led to this conclusion. 1. Our opposition played an ineligible player in the final
