@ClassicCounty Lincoln are going to win it comfortably. They are a fucking juggernaut.
English

Entertaining if nothing else.
Poor start, conceded 2 soft goals but a much better 2nd half. Even before the 1st red, we were the better team.
Automatics look a long shot (fair play Lincoln) but we need to win the next 2 to at least make that game interesting.

@officialbantams @OFFICEINTERIOR5 At least you got promoted on Tuesday lads.

@ClassicCounty If we hadn’t have spent the money we have, I’d be firmly in the 2nd camp.
The fact we’ve spent over £2m on just 2 players alone makes me think we’re miles off expectations.
English

@ClassicCounty No one willing to take a risk. Possession stats are through the roof. We just haven’t got anybody willing to try something different.
That comes from the message on the training ground during the week

Stockport County, under owner Mark Stott, are planning to help deliver 126 "genuinely affordable" homes in the borough - using land once earmarked for a training facility to tackle the town's housing shortage.
The club say that a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes would remain affordable long-term as part of a "once in a generation" opportunity in the town, 'supporting young families, key workers, and first-time buyers'.
County also say that all proceeds from the proposal, which is planned alongside 'development partners' Stonebond, will be reinvested locally - supporting education and employment programmes with Stockport College and MMU, building on the Community Trust’s work with vulnerable residents, investing in youth and women’s football, and continuing to improve facilities at EP.
The above is subject to planning approval, with the club also hoping to receive backing from SMBC on the project, which they say stands to bring 'significant benefits' to the wider community.
Also worth noting that under Stott's ownership, County have now already invested north of £40m into both club and town in the last six years, with these plans set to add to that investment in the borough.
Mark Stott: "Supporting the community and creating the right opportunities for young people matters enormously to #StockportCounty, which is why money generated from this development will be reinvested to support further and higher education programmes linked to sport, and for the benefit of community programmes and facilities.”

@ClassicCounty Na that’s it for me.
We’re not pulling back 8 points of Lincoln.
Another playoff lottery

Miles off it today, created hardly anything and didn’t test their keeper once.
With Cardiff, Lincoln & Bolton all winning it feels like a defeat.
Plenty of twists & turns to come though so whilst top 2 is looking difficult, it’s not impossible.

Louie Barry is back at #StockportCounty. Barry says "a special club" which is "taking a risk" on bringing him in - "I can't wait to see you all soon".
Loan deal until the end of the season from Aston Villa. Given Barry's injury, it's one that Dave Challinor refers to as a "possibility signing", and the club refer to as in part down to the "special relationship" between all parties.
"Louie is stepping up his rehab and should be back running in the coming week or so and, all things being equal, we may see him back out on the pitch somewhere around the middle of March."
“If it’s quicker, fantastic, if it’s not, then so be it. We are doing this as a ‘possibility’ signing, but are very clear as to what could or could not happen."
Few things to note:
- County will not pay any money for the deal until Barry plays 45 mins for the club
- As you can infer, believe it's seen as a 'bonus' signing and a free hit, as County's business was already done for the month with Barry coming in as an added option once fit
Back again.
