Taffs Well take on Cardiff Airport at the Gentles Construction Stadium tonight, 13th v 7th in the Elite Stands Ardal Southern South West table, kick off 7.30pm. Taffs Well earned an important 2-1 win last week at Treherbert Boys & Girls Club, taking the lead on 38 minutes through Harry Gidman from an assist from Captain Jac Simpson. However the home side equalised a minute before the interval to make it all square. However Gidman was on hand to score after great work from Jae Robinson on 55 minutes and this is how the game remained for Taffs Well to take the points. The previous week Taffs Well had draw 2-2 at home to Cardiff Corinthians. Lee Price had put Taffs Well ahead on 41 minutes after good work from Robert Jones, before the visitors equalised a minute later. Taffs Well them found themselves 2-1 behind on 48 minutes before Sebastian Thomas saved the day to earn a point equalising on 63 minutes from a Louie Crowe assist. Cardiff Airport will be looking to address a losing streak having lost their last 6 games. Last weekend they lost 5-0 at home to Clydach to follow a 4-1 defeat the previous week at inform Ynysgerwn. A goal down after just 5 minutes Airport equalised through Scott Dabusco on 9 minutes from a Callum Huggins assist. However goals on 11, 25 and 52 minutes sealed their fate. In their previous two games they had been unlucky not to pick up any points, losing by solitary goals to both Penrhiwceiber Rangers and Evans & Williams.

Caerphilly Athletic host Abertillery Bluebirds on Saturday at the CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence, 1st v 16th in the Elite Stands Ardal Southern South East table, kick off 2.00pm. Caerphilly Athletic continued their good form last weekend with a 6-1 win away at Croesyceiliog. Drew Perrott opened the scoring after just 2 minutes finding the net from a Iwan John assist, before John scored the second on 4 minutes, Will Toms providing the assist. John then added another goal on 9 minutes, this time Perrott providing the opportunity before John made it an 11 minute hattrick on 15 minutes, Perrott again with the assist. There was another goal before the interval as Perrott made it 5-0, after good work from Arron Hill. Croesyceiliog pulled a goal back on 52 minutes, but it was Caerphilly who had the last goal Richard Greaves scoring on 69 minutes from a Finley Skiverton assist. Meanwhile Abertillery Bluebirds earned an excellent point in midweek at high flying Goytre. The Bluebirds took the lead after 57 minutes through Ryan Meredith before Goytre equalised on 80 minutes. This is how the game remained as the Bluebirds earned only their second point in 10 games to give renewed hope they can escape the drop.

This game has sadly been postponed by the Referee at Half Time due to worsening conditions.
