Foundation all walked down to Tothill park to go on an Autumn walk today. We took bags to collect signs of Autumn with our parents. We had lots of fun and enjoyed exploring and talking about the signs of Autumn.

A great afternoon at Lipson for a tag rugby event for our year 6 children! In a game where the children were relatively inexperienced, we got better and better in every game! Finishing with  a win, draw, and a loss. Lot’s of quick thinking, learning and all playing with a smile!

Year 5 students from @SalisburyRdPrim completed the six-week ‘Healthy Habits - Activating Change, Through Food’ programme as part of #Project35, in partnership with @therealginsters 🥫 For the student led social action project, they asked all students at the school to wear mufti and dress in the colour of their favourite fruit or vegetable and encouraged them to bring a long-lasting food donation to help towards supporting the P35 Food Larder 🍏 Over 450 items were donated by the students! Thank you for the support 🙌

Foundation have had a wonderful week celebrating Chinese New Year! We have explored Chinese artifacts, clothes, made fans, lanterns, dragons and had a go at writing some Chinese symbols. We retold the Chinese New Year story together. Did you know 2024 is the year of the dragon?

Foundation have been making Christmas biscuits today. We went through the recipe together and carefully measured our ingredients, we then all had a go at mixing and rolling out our dough with rolling pins., Once baked we then had lots of fun decorating our biscuits! @CiaraEMoran

Last week Foundation celebrated the Festival of Light - Diwali. We have learnt the story of Rama and Sita and had fun recreating the story with masks. We have made Rangoli patterns on the playground and enjoyed creating and decorating our own Diva lamps out of clay.@CiaraEMoran
