@CoreyJT_AFC Two issues: 1. Martinelli salary. After 22/23 we rightfully gave him a new deal but salary wise no one outside of Saudi League or maybe PSG will offer him a similar package.
2. Diomande cost will be high as half of europe are turning up to his games weekly.

@Samnu_o I’d have both Diomande and Martinelli personally, I can see us signing one LW but not two to replace Leo & Martinelli. One of the two will stay.

@CoreyJT_AFC The problem is like Martinelli we tend to look at what our attackers do defensively more than in the final third. Martinelli is too wasteful and Odegaard imo doesn't try those passes enough, agree he is safe in possession but his in the team to try those risky passes.

@Samnu_o I think he still offers something personally, he certainly has his flaws and we need to move forward as a team, but he’s still very safe in possession, has a killer final ball, leads the press well and gives us some creativity, to an extent.

@CoreyJT_AFC I don't see what he offers. He has decided he only wants to receive the ball in areas that do nothing to the opposition, Arteta has said as much, his not a fan of seeing him receiving the ball from the back four, his whole game has become safe and timid. Diomande for Martinelli.

@Samnu_o I don’t think so either - He can still contribute at a high level to the team, but I can’t see him hitting those heights again.
Martinelli is the only one I’d keep as a squad option m, Leo and GJ need to leave.

@CoreyJT_AFC I can’t see Odegaard getting back to the levels of 22/23 and 23/24 season. I think the forward line also needs to be ripped up Martinelli, Trossard and GJ can all go.

@CoreyJT_AFC I wouldn't sell MLS without trying him in his actual position. I think Arteta is trying to find him game time in midfield. This might be controversial but if I had to pick between selling Nwaneri or Odegaard the captain would be going. Agree Anderson and Agoume would be ideal.

MLS is an interesting one, surely we’re seeing him slowly move away from LB and into midfield. Nwaneri I think will play a big part.
I’d move him on personally, Agoume would give us some much needed physicality too!

@CoreyJT_AFC Don't forget Nwaneri and MLS could feature in next years midfield. Wouldn't be shocked if Norgaard is sold and replaced with a more dynamic deep-lying midfielder. I know Arsenal were considering a move for Agoume last summer, they might go back.

@ONE_AMN For Arteta to be doing a 'Fergie' as people want to call it, this would involve the players not even going in the first place. Once they go all returns are lead by the players international federations not the manager of a club side making calls. But as we know its Arsenal 🗣️

@yomzworld Yep, there can be a conversation to be had on tactics, individual performances but when you spot some Arsenal fans basically repeating nonsense via the likes of Neville or some rage baiting Talksport presenter it’s time to leave the room.
