@kanipan_lol Being able to have a place where you can be more vulnerable, and where you can pour out your feelings can be good if you have positive supportive people around you there.

Prejudice and misogyny are very harmful, and I think they come from a lack of respect for others. But I don’t think shaming people will solve it. Instead, we should try to treat others with respect and show a better example. Negative attitudes don’t go away just by telling them to stop—they change when people see something better.

@kanipan_lol Absolutely! That is a great use for private accounts. Anyone who reacts in a way that is negative, you can just confidently remove access from, and anyone who feels bad for you is more likely feeling bad because they support you, not that they pity you.

You never know what will happen if you don't try! When it comes to things like that, there is really no harm in sending the request. Even if they were to think that of you, you will never know, or be affected by it. It is best to try to not let those things dissuade you from trying.
