The Church of England plans to spend £100 million on slavery reparations. As I wrote for @TheCriticMag, this is morally wrong, legally wrong, and based on a factually wrong account of history. The Church should be proud of helping to end slavery, not peddling divisive myths.

The right to Trial by Jury is a critical protection & balance within our justice system. It acts as a check on Judicial & Executive power, while upholding fairness & maintaining public confidence. It’s fundamental to what it means to be British. We cannot abandon this right.
