Believing in Israel is not evil. Have you been to Israel? If it were not for the Israelis protecting the Christian religious sites the entire country would be a Muslim state...like the many places in the Middle East which once had Christian populations but drove them out. I fully agree with Archbishop Sample (@ArchbishpSample) and the @USCCB on this. There is no excuse for harassing Jews in the U.S. and I support full prosecution of all who do. That said, what is antisemitism? Opposing Christian Zionism is not the same.

@RyanGirdusky Exactly. I have been Catholic all my life and attended Catholic shool and studied thrology. What many of these antisemitic Catholics preach is totally foreign to what I have been taught and what my mother tells me she has been taught.

This is not true at all. This is all coming from converts who use the cloak of Catholicism to attack Israel or promote antisemitism. I have been to church nearly every Sunday of my life and this never what’s being discussed. These converts using the Catholic identity is not reflective of the church.
