Hey folks. This is a tough tweet to make, but I think it’s very important that it’s made. I personally was a member of Santa Cruz food not bombs between 2019-2021, where I spent countless hours of labor trying to help my community. I am also a trans woman.

@BetrayedHuman @keith_mchenry Like I said, I felt a moral obligation to speak out due to the transphobia Keith posted. He clearly agrees that it was transphobic because he deleted the tweet…which I doubt he would have done if I hadn’t shined a light on it.

@SantaCruzFNB @keith_mchenry then get the fuck over it and stop harassing him and people on the world wide web. you moved so forget it. there is a lot in SC I hate and I plan to move too but when i do I am not going to keep paying attention to those I don't like here.

@BetrayedHuman @keith_mchenry Been the same person posting on this acc since it was founded in 2020. Haven’t lived in Santa Cruz since 2021, but kept this acc up for posterity. Watching Keith, someone whom I trusted and respected, fall down these conspiratorial rabbit holes compelled me to speak out.

@ABombFBom Yeah I definitely agree, it’s definitely more of a this chapter problem than a FnB problem.

@SantaCruzFNB Def not spread at all FnB events. When I was active in the Memphis chapter we were welcoming to everyone regardless of gender identity.

I strongly encourage anyone in the trans, non binary, or gender non conforming communities to be careful at FnB. I know in my heart that the bigotry is not spread to all the people there, but I genuinely worry for the safety of my trans peers now. Stay safe everyone.

Keith is hurting the most vulnerable of workers by spreading hateful rhetoric and is no better than any other racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic person on this earth who hides their bigotry behind workers rights.

Please help me in keeping our community safe from dangerous, sometimes even deadly conspiracy theories. Please get vaccinated, and do all you can to keep your community safe. Love yall <3

PS: Keith, who is an amazing organizer, is kind of spiraling down a dark path of worse and worse conspiracy theories. You can imagine how understandable it is for him, someone locked up countless times, to be distrustful of state explanations- but these are bad bad ideas.

Racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, and all forms of bigotry in this world deserve to be drowned by love. Seeing way too much conspiracy shit on my timeline and I think we all need to remember why we are anarchists. To lift each other up and thrive TOGETHER.
