1964 - Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby was found guilty of murdering Lee Harvey Oswald, the man accused of assassinating President John F. Kennedy. Ruby had shot Oswald two days after the assassination, on November 24, 1963, as Oswald was being transferred.
