My first author paper from my thesis work has been uploaded to BioRxiv! We identified Mecr as important for T cell fitness in in vivo CRISPR screens. I have further worked with Mecr and am the first to show it regulates T cell function and metabolism. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

This is a medical first- despite drug approvals for TG >500, none were shown to reduce pancreatitis. The Balance study required great science, a great drug, great study design, and great execution to succeed.
