I'm super excited and grateful-yesterday I was appointed full professor at the Centre for Molecular Biology (ZMBH) at the University of Heidelberg. I am very grateful to my team, colleagues and mentors who have helped me along the way. I very much look forward to the next phase.

Also a big thanks to @IMPRS_Mic for their support throughout my PhD, providing valuable opportunities for exchange, development, and funding.🍀

With this chapter coming to an end, a new and exciting one is about to begin—one that will take me on a very different kind of journey👶 before returning to work in about a year and gaining new experiences🧠

Officially Dr. rer. nat.! A few weeks ago, I successfully defended my dissertation, and today, I had the pleasure of receiving my certificate—making me Dr. Selina Rust🎓
