Pray for me. On my way from traveling and we had two suspicious guys from the pack. One of the man whom one is sitting with discovered he has gun, so he raised alarm and by the time the driver stopped, they forcefully came down and ran inside bush.

Everybody wants cheap goods, but nobody talks about the men risking their lives daily on Nigerian roads to deliver them.

As a truck driver, stories like this break my heart. No family deserves to lose their loved ones because a vehicle that should never have been on the road was allowed to operate. Many of us drivers leave home praying to return safely, and we carry the burden of knowing that one mechanical failure can destroy several lives in seconds.

Early yesterday, a trailer was driving behind my aunt. She decided to enter into the fuel station, which was unusual because she usually does that in the evening on her way back from work. After filling up, a little further down the road, she saw that the trailer's brake failed, killing 16 persons ahead. We need to be very mindful of road worthiness in this country. 16 persons were undeservedly murdered because a vehicle was not road worthy. It is crazy. How do you begin to console the families for the loss? What consolation equates to life?
