Back to work in the morning after the best week. Barcelona was incredible. The perfect place to have said goodbye to my thirties…

Last week in my thirties …so far spent being excited over a new heated clothes horse and arguing with Direct Line about car insurance

My brain was determined it was going to be Monday today for pretty much all of yesterday (despite having plans today!) Essentially I have woken up to an extra day though 🙌🏻

What a gig at KOKO last night! The Walkmen were just incredible… 🎶🎸

Even MORE excited for seeing The Walkman again next week now and was a great set from The Strokes at All Points East yesterday (well, once we found a position where you could actually hear them!)

Nature hates me. Last week a wasp sting and this week I have a bunch of blisters and a massively swollen ankle thanks to some midges. Obviously this is just in time for the wedding I am going to tomorrow …in strappy heels 😭

I stood statue still until the wasp felt like it had actually crawled into my ear …and that’s when I panicked and it stung. Don’t seem to be allergic so there’s that at least. I’ve definitely had more enjoyable dog walks though

Had the most ridiculous exchange at work today …admitted they hadn’t read the last line (of my three line!) email but that it was my fault Well perhaps people should confirm how many lines of an email they are willing to read so we can avoid this mess in future eh? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Little trip to Henley …it actually felt like summer today!

Bought a beautiful dress to wear to a wedding next month but did not anticipate how difficult it would be to find shoes to go with it I must have looked at every pair on every website at least twice now

A whole year ago today. He’s a lot bigger now but I’m still so in love with him…

I think ticket offices at railway stations are one of those things that remind of what a society should actually be. Real jobs and real interactions , and community can sometimes be placed above shareholder dividends. It's a choice we can make. #SaveTicketOffices
