The modern Treyarch fan has no expectations and no longer knows what CoD was really all about. It used to be a military-inspired shooter with a cohesive atmosphere. Aiming and positioning were the main focus and not Movement. Map knowledge also played a bigger role back then, since not every map was a 3-lane grindbox—see Havana in BO1. These days, the modern Treyarch fan just wants 3-lane grind boxes to level up, instead of a CoD with a good campaign and a multiplayer mode that has more to offer...

@TheSyberianOne MW19 was a technically impressive CoD, and it’s clear from the campaign that it’s meant to be a modern take on CoD 4 In the BO7 campaign, we had a 3-meter-tall Harper in a boss fight—I don’t see how that fits with a modern interpretation of BO2

A lot of the “MW4 = MW2” talk is outdated. The foundation is very different this time.
