Fat shaming rankings: 1) South Korea 2) Japan 3) China "You got fat" isn't meant to be mean, it's just a neutral observation. "You look like a fat pig" isn't mean either, it's an objective assessment. "I broke up because you are too fat" isn't mean, it's honest. Asians who live in the West tend to get a bit chunkier. Not medically overweight, but still "disgustingly fat" for Asian standards. Many Western Asian girls dread going back to Asia for vacation due to the shaming. But due to the pressure, they force themselves to lose weight, and become much prettier and more confident in their skin. And they realize that the system just works.

The South Bangkok Criminal Court has refused to allow activist Patsaravalee Tanakitvibulpon to travel to Brazil between 14 - 17 April to attend a workshop on human rights and democracy communication, in which she is one of only 40 participants. Her petition was denied although she has a clear travel plan and no hearing has been scheduled during the time she intends to travel. Patsaravalee was charged with royal defamation and sedition in relations to a 26 October 2020 protest in front of the German Embassy in Bangkok. One of her bail conditions was that she is not allowed to leave the country without court permission. During the 26 October 2020 protest, protesters marched to the German Embassy in Bangkok to submit a petition calling for the German authorities to investigate King Vajiralongkorn’s use of power during his time in Germany.
